The 2018 Ford F-150 is the culmination of over forty years of constant innovation, and this upcoming pickup will be no different. After three model years’ worth of class-leading, work-owning tech that no competitor can match, America’s favorite half-tonner returns with seven unique faces, more power, better efficiency, and a turbodiesel.
The 3.0-liter Power Stroke turbodiesel V6 will debut in the lineup in Spring 2018, leaving the twin-turbo V6 F-150 as the best-in-class title holder for torque and towing for the time being. Those who opt for a base pickup, or one housing the EcoBoost V6 or naturally-aspirated V8 will notice increased power numbers, too. There’s also more unique looks to be had. All seven F-150 models get their own grille to help tell them apart (similar to the new Super Duty trucks), and the options sheet has grown longer—with more safety and connectivity to be had.
